'Its good in a way that Schools are going to stay closed for next few days. We can use this time to make further inroads and hopefully will be able to solve this case in due time. I know that a break such as this will hamper the rhythm and we will have tough time adjusting to lost time to cover the remaining syllabus once the school resumes back. But still, Given the circumstances, I believe it is a right decision made by the school authorities. What do you think, Guys?' Asked Vicky looking at his troop.

'Absolutely. Its not only just the Empire Street residents but other parents are also scared and skeptical that the murderer might attack their kids if they let them attend school. Even if they were to escort their kids to the school, they can't be with them all the time and hence they don't want to take undue risk. Considering this factor, all the schools in the town have collectively taken this decision to stay shut for a while. They seem to have adopted this policy of wait and watch hoping that Police will catch the culprit at the earliest possible time frame. In fact I read in today's Newspaper that Police Commissioner office is under tremendous pressure from the politicians at helm and has been given an ultimatum of a weeks time.'  Said Joseph.

'Yeah, Lot of pressure from all corners of the society. Its a tough job to be a Police Inspector.' Said Nattu.

'Inspector Avinash is the right man for the job. He has made a good name for himself by proactively eliminating crime from the city. In the past, he has reached out to us several times to help assist in finding the criminal. He has lot of faith in our capabilities and we haven't disappointed him a bit. This time is no different. He wants us to be actively involved in this assignment, which we already are.'  Vicky continued.

'We are up against a killer who is not only astute but nimble and agile as well, another stiff challenge lies ahead for sure.' Said Nikita.

'How come?'  Asked Jayati curiously.

'Majority of well known high schools are located very near to Empire Street. Being at a very short distance, School buses and the School vans don't run on this route. The High School Students usually commute to school all by themselves. Murderer has done his homework right. He was well aware of the fact that the cross streets are very less crowded in early morning hours. In all three cases so far, there is no eye witness. He seems to be a seasoned professional killer, with adequate planning he has accomplished the task in just few minutes and fled away.' Answered Nikita.

'Hmm' Nodded Jayati, agreeing to Nikita's theory.

'What's up next? Should we discuss what needs to be done hereon?' Nattu was getting impatient.

'Sure. Let's list down the tasks first and then distribute it among ourselves as we always do. We need to keep a close watch on Empire Street starting tomorrow morning. What else?' Said Vicky thinking loud.

'Based on the details shared with us by Inspector Avinash, let's find out Abdul Gaffar. We need to keep a close eye on him, what all he does, who all he meets, etc.' Nattu pointed out.

'Bear in mind that it could be a different "Mr. A.G." than we think. The murderer could be a first timer or on the contrary someone who never got traced and hence is not on Police criminal records. For getting any hints on this, we need to share our findings and work with our trusted sources, The Informers.' Jayati chipped in.

'Yes, and one other thing that comes to mind is that very few people wear such kind of Tawiz. Usually people get it from Peer Fakir. I guess we also need to find out the sources from where one can get such Tawiz so that we can trace back and arrive at any conclusion about Mr. A. G.' Said Surabhi.

'Very valid point. So we have lot to do. Let me now distribute these tasks.' Said Vicky.

'Joseph and Nikita to monitor Empire Street area, especially the Main Street.
Myself and Nattu to keep an eye on Abdul Gaffar and gather all kind of information about him.
Jayati to work with Informers and find out if a different Mr. A.G exists.
Surabhi and Pranshu to look out for Peer Fakirs and inquire them about such Tawiz.' Vicky allocated the tasks.

'Sounds like a Plan' Said Nattu.

'By the way, Did you guys hear about the Drawing competition that is to be held later this week?' Asked Pranshu wanting to change the topic.

'Not really, What is it all about?' Asked Nikita in a surprised tone.

'There are big advertisements in almost all Newspapers today. Someone called Mr. Diwan has arranged for a drawing competition. School students in the age group 10 to 14 can enroll. The prize money to be awarded to first three winners are enormous. To give you an idea, the first winner will get whopping 5 Lac Rupees, 2nd winner to get 3 Lac Rupees and 3rd to get 1 Lac Rupees.' Replied Pranshu.

Wow, That's lot of money. They all got excited.
