Other than the Joggers, Milkmen and Newspaper sellers, generally you won't find many people out on the street this early on a Sunday morning. But today was different. Empire Street was in limelight again for not so good reasons.

Champ7 soon reached Empire Street. From a distance they could see a cross section lane which was covered by Police. They parked their Bicycles across the street surface and walked towards the crime spot. A school girl was lying dead on the ground. They could see the  food and the Lunchbox scattered on the ground. Everything appeared exactly similar to what they had seen in previous two murders.

'Hey Guys, I was about to call you up. How did you come to know about this?' Asked Inspector Avinash in a puzzled look.

'We thought we could catch the murderer and so came here looking for him. But he seems to be too smart and ahead in the game' Pranshu Replied with a dejected shrug.

'Hmm, I See. A milkman called up police station and informed us of seeing a girl lying dead here. We came here straightaway. Girl's name is Priya. I had called up her parents and they too reached here few minutes back. Priya had to attend some extra classes in the school today. Someone attacked her, stabbed from behind and killed her.' Said Inspector Avinash

'This is now a third murder in just three days. We so far have no clue whatsoever about the person behind this, nor we have any idea about the motive behind these murders. Hard to imagine why someone would kill schoolgirls one after other. The guy must be of insane mentality and is on a killing spree I suspect' Continued Inspector Avinash expressing his anguish.

'Howsoever smart, I am confident we will be able to nail him down. Let's inspect the crime spot carefully. We might find some clue.' Said Vicky looking at other members of Champ7 pack.

Champ7 inspected the crime site for next half an hour but they didn't find anything suspicious in there. Soon the News broadcasters, reporters and local politicians arrived at the crime site. Inspector Avinash had a real hard time answering their questions.

Champ7 returned back to Civil Lines Park. They were bemused and bewildered and understandably so. The murderer has killed one more girl and they just couldn't do anything to stop him.

'Guys, Though we have figured out that the murderer is looking for something valuable and hence attacking girls from Empire Street, we need to act fast and catch him before he commits one more murder. Most probably he is not successful in his hunt yet and would definitely attack another girl soon.' Said Vicky.

'Friends, did you all notice one thing though? These three murders have been committed in three different cross streets of Empire Street but if we walk back you will find that they all merge into Main Street. Most of the Empire Street residents reside on either sides of Main Street. The students living in Empire Street have to commute via these cross streets to reach their school. These cross streets are less crowded in the morning hours. I have a strong intuitive feeling that the murderer must have followed these three girls from Main Street all the way until the girls reached one of these cross Streets. So instead of policing the entire Empire Street area, we only need to focus on Main Street I believe' Nattu jumped in.

'Very good observation, I must say' Joseph was all praise for Nattu.

'Other than his initials, we have no idea about his where about. The only way out as I see is to hope that he will come out one more time to attack another girl soon, may be tomorrow. We need to keep a constant surveillance in the Main Street of the Empire Street area. However, It will not be possible as we also have to attend our classes in the school from tomorrow.' Said Jayati.

'Let's first find out from Inspector Avinash if he has are any records of the criminals in the Police Station with initials "A.G.". He promised us to share this information by evening today.' Reminded Pranshu.

'Yeah. Let's meet up in the Police Station at 5 pm today evening.' Said Vicky.

The City was rocked by the brutal stabbing murders of girls from three high profile families. The reporters from screen and print media had sensationalized their respective coverage on these killings. The youth and old in the town organised the candlelight march demanding justice and in support of the victim girls.

Residents of Empire Street were stunned and astounded. They were scared of sending their kids to school as they feared of another murder. The School authorities from different school assembled and took a collective decision to close the schools until a later date till the criminal is sent behind the bar.

Police authorities were under extreme pressure both from politicians as well as citizens of the town to find and arrest the criminal in next 24 hours. As an immediate precautionary measure, Inspector Avinash sent his troops to guard the Empire Street area. But, was that enough to stop another murder?
