Vicky was first to reach Civil Lines park. In fact he had reached there 5 minutes in advance. Soon other members of Champ7 joined him one by one.

Vicky started to address the meet.

'Friends, its quite unfortunate that one of our school friend met with such a tragedy. We now need to put our thinking cap and work fast on this case. Let's recollect the data facts we have on this case thus far.'
A Serial Killer set free in the city

'Well friends, what we have learnt so far is that Rima was on her way to school on her bicycle. Someone attacked and stabbed her from behind on her back three times. Police found her body lying on the ground. Someone possibly informed them about this incidence.' Nattu provided the recap.

'There is one another interesting thing that I have observed when I saw footage of murder site on television in the evening before coming here.' Said Pranshu.

She further added, 'Other than Rima's bicycle, I also saw her lunchbox near her body. What surprised me most was that all the four boxes of her lunchbox were open, spread on the ground. She was not robbed. Also the so called attacker didn't take away her bicycle. It appeared as if someone was more interested in inspecting her lunchbox.'

'Interesting' nodded Nikita.

'So, what is next course of action? Shall we visit the crime site tomorrow morning?' Asked Surabhi curiously.

'Don't think so. Police have already moved Rima's body along with her bicycle, schoolbag, lunchbox etc. There is nothing for us really to inspect on the crime site.' Replied Joseph.

'Friends, let's meet Avinash uncle tomorrow. I think we need to have a set of photographs of crime scene. It may be handful and could further help us in our investigation' said Nikita.

'Yes, sure. Let's meet in the police station tomorrow morning at 10 am. Meantime, let's also think individually about how to trace this attacker.' Vicky replied.

It was a short meeting as they didn't really had much to discuss.

Surabhi and Jayati reached home. Amit was anxiously waiting outside for his twin sisters. He was very hungry. The moment he saw his sisters parking their bicycles in the parking lot he felt happier.

'Di, what is this? Where had you both gone to? Did you go for some shopping? Why didn't you take me along?'

'Amit, we have got one new assignment. Sorry, we are bit late. Let's go upstairs and have dinner. Momma must be waiting for us.' Realising Amit's anxity, replied Jayati.

'Di, do you mean to say a new Mystery? Oh, no. Not again. You both become so busy when you have some assignment in hand along with your Champ7 friends. Already there is enough school homework, on top of this you are also working on a Mystery. How in the world you manage this? I can't even manage half an hour homework. It is so boring' Pointed out Amit.

'By the way, what is this new Mystery all about?' Asked Amit.

'We will tell you everything tomorrow after dinner. Hopefully we shall have more data points to ponder by tomorrow evening.' Said Surabhi.

They didn't talk much during dinner. Girls completed their studies right after dinner and straightway rushed to bed. They were just thinking about the events in the day and what lies ahead tomorrow.

Champ7 reached Police Station

Champ7 meets
Inspector Avinash

It was 10 am in the morning.

Sub inspector Avinash handed over the crime scene photographs to Champ7. Just when Champ7 were about to leave, the office phone bell rang. Champ7 waited for a while.

Avinash uncle picked up the phone. Avinash uncle's face turned red. He noted down some address on a piece of paper. For few seconds, he didn't utter a word but signaled Champ7 to wait before hanging up the phone.

Another Murder took place

One more girl
murdered

'What happened, Uncle?' Asked Vicky.

'One more murder. Another girl attacked and stabbed. Guys, let's go to the crime site.' yelled Avinash Uncle.

Heartbroken and upset, Champ7 nearly fainted after hearing one more bad news. Two murders in two days.
